The Interior Design eaus Design Awards promotes excellence in Australian design through a credible and internationally recognised annual program. Entry submissions will be accepted until Friday 17 February 2006 for projects completed during the period 1 September 2004 to 31 December 2005. Registrations are now open for the 2006 Interior Design eaus Design Awards. Registration is recommended to ensure that you receive information about future programs. A Gala Award Presentation will be held on Friday 7 April 2006 at the Ballroom of the recently reopened Hilton Sydney.The Interior Design architect designer should work closely with the architect to plan the Interior Design architect space of the building according to the needs and tastes of its occupants. Together they create beautiful and useful Interior Design architect volumes and treat the planes that enclose them. The character of space, however, is determined not solely by physical dimensions but also by such elements as light, color, decoraŽtion, and furnishings; and it is in these areas that the Interior Design architect designer makes his most signifiŽcant contribution.
Many people today satisfactorily design their own homes or other buildings, but it is no longer necessary to have a bottomless purse to employ a professional Interior Design architect designer. He can adapt to most budgets and tastes; indeed, by clarifying the wishes of his client and deterring him from expensive mistakes, he may well prove to be the greatest economy the client can make.
No two problems are ever exactly alike; it is seldom that design details can be successfully standardized, as in architecture or in engineering. Collaboration between the landŽscape architect and the architect occurs on probŽlems of the private estate, and where architectural structures play an important part in the Outdoor compositions. During World War I collaboration developed further to include the civil engineer on the design of communities, army cantonments, government war housing, industrial plants and similar problems. This collaboration has conŽtinued to expand ever since, until most federal agencies now require a Landscape architect for the site-planning and other phases of the developŽment of the land, acting as one member of the design team along with the architect and engineer.
Wa Named Interior Design eils Designer for Burj Dubai Hotel
Wa international has been named as Interior Design eils design consultant on Emaar Properties' Burj Dubai Lake hotel project.
The Dubai-based firm will be in charge of the design of 198 guest rooms, 626 serviced residential apartments and all public areas related to the multi storey development, currently under construction.

It was important to develop a distinctive, progressive Interior Design eils design to compliment the architectural exterior as created by architects W S Atkins Overseas."

Bookings for the dinner will open in February. Entry is open to all Australian-based Interior Design eils designers, Interior Design eils decorators, Interior Design eils architects and other design professionals. Entries are encouraged from individuals, groups, partnerships and those working in larger practices. All projects entered must have been completed between 1 September 2004 and 31 December 2005 and may not have been entered into the 2005 Interior Design eils Design Awards. An Award is given to projects that demonstrate the highest level of achievement within their category in accordance with the judging criteria.
